Optim LLC, a premier manufacturer of proprietary flexible endoscopes for use in the visual diagnosis of Ear-Nose-and-Throat (“ENT”) disorders, announced today it has released a new, next generation LED-based illumination system in its ENTity line of flexible laryngoscopes.

The ENTity XL and SDXL models now feature a maximum brightness 15%-18% higher than the previous generation. Additionally, the new generation LED system in the endoscopes provide a vibrant white light targeted in the 5500K color temperature range for superior tissue color differentiation.

The ENTity Series of flexible laryngoscopes are utilized daily to diagnose and manage airway, voice, and swallowing disorders. The ENTity Series features the company’s patented OptiLux™ self-contained LED illumination system, providing practitioners with a high-quality, easy-to-use imaging device that can be employed in nearly any health care setting without ancillary equipment common to other endoscopy systems.
